<description>Welcome to COVC&amp;#39;s (http://www.coastalvalues.org/) (http://www.coastalvalues.org/) Marine Sanctuary Economics Community of Practice (MS CoP). The MS CoP has been created for marine sanctuary professionals who need economic information, have questions about how to get it, and want to know how they can use economic data in their management plans. Once registered, members can ask questions of each other and experts in the Policy Forum (index.php?option=com_fireboard Itemid=27). The MS CoP is facilitated by Dr. Linwood Pendleton (http://www.coastalvalues.org/about/staff.html), Senior Fellow at The Ocean Foundation, Chris LaFranchi, Social Science Coordinator for the West Coast Region, and Dr. Vernon R. (Bob) Leeworthy, Chief Economist at NOAA&amp;#39;s National Marine Sanctuary Program. Their Blogs (index.php?option=com_content task=blogsection id=5 Itemid=9) will provide timely information and insight on new areas of interest, recently completed studies, and announcements for RFPs.Register (index.php?option=com_comprofiler task=registers) as an MS CoP member and you can access journal articles, reports, working papers, survey tools, and methods in our Documents Library (index.php?option=com_docman Itemid=26).
